Courageous Advocacy
Courageous Advocacy - Year 3
During a forest school session, one child observed a collection of water in a large hole. She commented on how dirty the water looks and stated emphatically that ‘some people around the world have to drink water like that.’
This led to a discussion about clean water access. Year 3 investigated the topic further, learning about the Sustainable Development Goal number 6: access to clean water. The children, showing an understanding of Love thy neighbour, decided to support the cause.
Children created posters to spread awareness of their cause which are displayed in local shops.
