SATs

Year 6 SATs Information

Within school, children have a variety of systems to support them in preparation for SATs. We are fortunate enough to be able to deliver daily lessons within smaller groups as well as supporting and challenging children through intervention and booster groups. Children also have a weekly SATs afternoon to further support them before sitting the assessments and weekly arithmetic tests and feedback where they are given further small group support. Also, they will be given regular opportunities (either within daily lessons or as part of more formal assessments) for test practise. Furthermore, children are provided with SATs revision books in each subject to familiarise themselves even further before May as well as access to SATs Boot Camp. Children have their own logins to be used at school and at home. On here, they can access Revision Topics for both maths and English, have a go at bitesize quizzes, and take practice tests online including SPAG, reading, arithmetic and maths reasoning papers. Weekly homework is set from here. https://www.yearsix.co.uk/sats-boot-camp/
